Our exciting new Masters-level program of academic courses will focus on Teaching Tanakh in the Diaspora classroom, and equipping teachers with advanced knowledge and practical skills. Students can choose from these asynchronous online courses in English during the academic year 2022-2023. After one academic year, Certificate program participants who have earned sufficient credits will receive a Tanakh Teaching Certificate from Herzog College. Please note that Rav Daniel Wolf’s “Method & Meaning: Herzog-Style Tanakh” course is compulsory for the Tanakh Teaching Certificate.

Each full course will require 1.5 hours of study per week. Each course is comprised of 12 lessons of which 10 or 11 are asynchronous (online materials for self-study with questions and discussions) plus a weekly assignment for you to complete (but no tests).  Each course also has either one or two Zoom lessons. All Zoom lessons take place on Sundays at 8:00pm Israel time.

There are multiple courses available. Each course is worth 180 SAJEP points.

Pay only $30 for each Spring Semester course. Use the SAJEP discount code: SA2023 for $45 discount per course.
